Best SIF funds in India – November 1st – NAV data as on 30th October, 2026
By SIFedge Team
Comparison of SIF strategies within their respective strategies, using risk-adjusted quantitative performance metrics & calculated from AMFI NAV data available up to 31 October 2026. They provide a historical view of how the funds have performed relative to one another and should not be interpreted as investment recommendations.
Methodology adopted
- —SIFs are ranked within their respective SEBI-defined strategies
- —Data source: The methodology uses daily NAV data for the Regular Plan (G), sourced from AMFI, from each scheme's inception.
- —Ranking parameter: Funds are ranked on the basis of Industry well-acknowledged Sharpe Ratio and further quantifiable data is shown for further self-evaluation, because one must never judge a SIF by its Sharpe ratio alone. Read Sharpe with Alpha over benchmark, Beta, Max Drawdowns and rolling returns
- —Minimum track record: A minimum of 180 days of NAV history is required for a scheme to qualify for ranking. Funds with a shorter history are displayed with a N.A.

Alpha = fund return minus benchmark return in percentage points (pp), both absolute, for the last 6 months (30 Apr–30 Oct 2026) and since first NAV; benchmark values from daily Nifty 500 / Nifty 50 / Nifty 200 TRI data. N.A. = not available: Sharpe needs 180 days of NAV history; 6M alpha needs 6 months; # = alpha as printed in the AMC's 30 Sep 2026 factsheet, used where the fund's benchmark (hybrid, CRISIL, BSE or blended index) has no public daily data for 30 Oct; other funds on such benchmarks show N.A. because their factsheet does not print it. Sharpe uses a 5.07% risk-free rate (CCIL TREPS, 30 Sep 2026). Rolling returns = average of all 1-month and 3-month rolling returns since launch. * Allotment date not verified; history counted from the first published NAV.

Notes:
Understand what is Sharpe Ratio:
The Sharpe ratio for a Specialised Investment Fund (SIF) measures how much extra return the fund delivers for every unit of total risk it takes on – Sharpe ratio = (Fund return − Risk-free rate) ÷ Standard deviation of returns, annualised.
Where:
- —Risk-Free Rate means the baseline return you could earn with near-zero risk, typically tied to government bonds, Treasury Bills, or the RBI repo rate in India. This report uses 5.07% p.a., the CCIL TREPS rate as of 30 September 2026.
- —Standard Deviation is a measure of how much a fund's daily returns move around their average. Annualised (× √252), it shows how bumpy the ride has been: higher means bigger swings, up or down.
A.R.C is a quantifiable data approach to understand the Risk adjusted Returns of SIF's better, where:
- —A – Alpha: Alpha generated over the relevant applicable benchmark. Shown in percentage points (pp): fund return minus benchmark return.
- —R – Resilience: Max drawdown: Measures how well the fund has managed declines. Sharpe: return earned above the risk-free rate for each unit of volatility. Higher means more return per unit of risk taken. Sortino: like Sharpe, but counts only downside volatility (falls), so upside swings are not penalised. Not shown in this edition.
- —C – Consistency: Rolling returns. Measures how regularly the fund has generated positive returns. Shown here as the average of all 1-month and 3-month rolling returns since launch.
